You may think that your acne days have passed, but think again. More and more adults are experiencing pimples just as much as when they were teenagers. Now why is this happening? Why is this becoming a common occurrence? Werent we supposed to say goodbye to our zit infestation once we reach out adulthood? Due to a number of unhealthy habits, this is not true. Due to the food we eat and the beverages we drink on a day to day basis, pimples will develop on our skin well into our adulthood.
The food society, culture, and commerce are behind all this skin mayhem. We were led to believe by false advertising that the food we are accustomed to is what our body needs to sustain itself and efficiently carry out its functions. This is not true. The beverages and food we prefer are rich in refined sugar, refined salt, fat, and preservatives. Unfortunately, this type of food is mainly responsible for our skins demise. They create the ideal breeding grounds for bacteria to thrive and develop, which is the main cause of acne. Unfortunately, our skin dilemma is our own doing, due to our preference in food and drinks.
To prevent zits from developing we should at least drink the recommended eight glasses of clean water every day. This is crucial. The body needs a lot of water to flush out the harmful toxins and bacteria. It is also essential to include fresh vegetables and fruits in our diet. Honey mixed with cinnamon or lemons is natures best remedy and preventive measure against pimples. Honey is a natural moisturizer. Cinnamon and lemons are known for killing bacteria. These are the all natural methods of adult acne prevention, which is a must if we are to prevent pimples from creating havoc on our skin.
